Must be the Season of the Witch. For the FAITHFUL READERS, this is reference from the 2009 season when we really thought that team might do some damage in the playoffs. Yeah, they were weak in the trenches and it sure showed against the Jets in the playoffs. Losing to Mark Sanchez seems a little weird now, but not as weird as him doing an interview with Herbert in a car.
Anyway, I said last time out that if we didn't beat the Vikings we wouldn't have anything to play for. They did and we do, but that has to continue tomorrow. I know how bad the Titans allegedly are. I know that MIKE FUCKING MCCOY is coaching them. He was on the Jaguars' staff during the playoff meltdown. Nuff' said.
This game is as much a must win as the Dolphins game. Yes, it's also weird that we had to pull out a miracle to beat Miami after seeing how bad they are. Or, as the song goes, that it's strange, so strange.
I guess we can also look at the Giants game as one we "should" have won, but you can also make the argument that once Joe Alt went down that we didn't have a contingency plan. I can't imagine they took the Giants lightly but the result was a loss anyway.

Halloween has come and gone. Herbo clearly got some time off, even if he couldn't stay for the entire extra inning World Series game. It sounds like we really dodged a bullet with Derwin's ankle. Apparently he was pretty freaked out thinking it was a high sprain. Still will be out for a while, which sucks. However, it's not like he's out for the year. Only Slater fits that description right now and we've got to be thankful for that.
I could analyze the Xs and Os of tomorrow's game, but what would be the point. It's the last "winnable"game for a bit. Last year, they won those games. Unfortunately, they didn't win any of the others and it showed up in the playoffs. This season they've already beaten KC and Denver. The reality is that those teams win these type of games and we have to as well.
That's it, plain and simple. As you may remember, Aaron and I will be at the next home game against the Steelers and I would really love for it to mean something. Fucking shit up is mandatory.
