That's really all there is to say. Gates is getting inducted into the Ring of Honor and will definitely be in Canton soon. Phil is in the building for the first time since leaving StubHub. I don't need to give you a history lesson, FAITHFUL READER on how those two guys gave it all for the Chargers and it still wasn't enough. Rivers (and Steichen) weren't all that impressive in 2019 and looked just find in Indy. Until we do something with the guys we've got, it's us. This is our heritage and history, no matter how fucked up and depressing it ultimately is. There is no way this team makes the playoffs without winning out. So much rides on today. I am sure Sean Payton is extra motivated to win against Brandon Staley, who is apparently celebrating a birthday today.
It would be nice to get a win on Hanukkah no less. I still think Staley will and should be canned next month, but it's impossible not to be fired up today.
Kickoff is about an hour away. If there is a season to talk about we'll discuss before Thursday against the Traitors.
Open the Gates and let the Rivers flow.

Apparently we have a terrible record on Alumni weekend. Need to track down the stat.
