Mini Bye or Maxi Bye Bye?

Sorry to come at you so late, FAITHFUL READER. It's been a short week and I feel like we just had to endure another Sunday shit show. The Colts were good as advertised, but the defense was beyond concerning. Listening to the preceded "Hops With Pop," he essentially laid out exactly how Indy would attack us. The Chargers need to be disciplined and expect Tyler Warren to leak out in the flat. Nothing was a surprise and yet the Bolts let it happen. The worst play of the game was the 3rd and 17, which I believe was the result of a rare sack, and we gave up a 48 yard pass.

We all see the screen shots of Bozeman and Zion lying on the ground while Herb is running for his life. It's embarrassing and makes us all livid. I don't think Hortiz hasn't invested in the line like others do. Slater got hurt and they drafted Alt when everyone, myself included, wanted Nabers.

Now we can't live without Alt. It appears he will play tonight as will Molden, who keeps getting hurt. Pipkins sucks and is also continually injured. We can discuss if they should have paid to keep him, but it seems like we really don't have anyone better. The only thing I will say positively about the line scrubs is that Sarrell is better than Decculus. The brief moment he came in convinced me of this even if I have nightmares about him playing in Jacksonville.

It's a must win. If they plan to make any kind of run and take advantage of the three straight divisional wins that started the year, it has to begin tonight.

There's really not a need or the time to say much more. We'll either have something to play for after tonight or not. The only hope I have is that they actually fuck shit up.
