I have always attributed that line to April Powers in one of my favorite character arcs on Eastbound and Down. When Kenny joins the "Sports Sesh" show with Ken Marino, I remember her saying her husband was there to fuck shit up. I've been saying it since the 2013 season, but maybe it's not from the series. It doesn't matter. This shot I believe is from the premiere.

I went with the Jaws town hall shot for good luck last week so I'll keep the vibes going with a still from the greatest film ever made.

Last week, I paid my respects to Diane Keaton. This week, it's Space Ace. I actually saw all 4 members of KISS in 2000 on their last tour before Gene and Paul took over the brand. Here's a cover of a Humble Pie classic, covered amazingly by Gov't Mule, with Ace on guitar and Robin Zander on vocals.

I mean that was the play, right? As you know, FAITHFUL READER, Aaron and I were supposed to be there on Sunday. Watching my 14 year-old son crash out after the Washington game was tough. Hearing him say all the same things I've said over the years during a loss was reminiscent of the "I LEARNED IT FROM YOU, DAD!" PSA from the 1980s, but he wasn't rolling a joint.

I did get him to do a victory shot with me. You can see the other pics in my phone at the bottom.

I can't fault him for the face. It's not the smoothest tequila I've got even though it's in the cool bottle. Anyway, we made the right call not going to the game. Not only was it apparently humid as fuck (which really wouldn't have bothered me), but it was a tough game to watch. The Bolts made halftime adjustments and took that 13 point lead. If they had closed it down from there, it would have been alright. Of course, they did not. We saw them almost collapse last year against the Bengals, but they didn't complete the choke. At time, everyone said that was the kind of game we'd have lost in years past. This time, we needed Herbo to bail us out.

As of this writing, it seems like Perryman and Mack will be on the field. Perryman is not really reliable to stay healthy. I think that's been proven at this point. But the run defense will be on display with Taylor running against us. I like our chances tomorrow, which is crazy when you think about how we all felt a week ago. But no one really thinks we can win. The Colts deserve their flowers, as the kids say, but they aren't the '85 Bears. Hopefully, the crowd will be fired up. These are the games where we need them. I don't care about the yellow uniforms, but if we win then they're great.

That's it. You're now down with a discount.
